Free photo shoot


Visible echo is giving away a free photo shoot to the most creative photo shoot idea.

We want to do creative shoots to inspire us this year so we thought why not give back to our loyal fans in doing so.


Here is the contest:
1. Think of a creative idea.
2.  Go to the Visible Echo facebook page (www.facebook.com/visibleecho).  And post a photo on our wall depicting your idea, with as much detail as possible.  This may be a storyboard, diorama, picture, drawing.... the sky is the limit.  (Before posting you need to first be a fan of the page, so don't forget to like the page first!)
3.  In the caption add any further description to the photo you feel it may need to win.
4.  Tag yourself in the photo.
5.  Invite your friends to become fans of Visible Echo and "like" your image to show your support of Visible Echo.


The winner will be selected based on the creativity of the idea, and how much they value Visible Echo based on the number of Facebook "likes" they have on their image.


The fine print:
- has to be a new shoot idea, cannot be an already scheduled shoot
- the shoot may be anywhere in the world, however travel and accommodations must be covered
- the shoot includes our basic a la carte package.  However the time is flexible, we will shoot as long as needed to get the images.  Digital negatives and prints ordered separately.
- must sign a model release for the images to be used for stock photography.
- at least 10 entries are needed for the contest to be active.

In honour of all of our wonderful wedding couples from 2010 we are throwing a photography contest!

Visible Echo is wanting to thank you for letting us being a part of your special day, and in honour of you being part of our lives this year we want to give a little back as a way of saying thank you.

So we have gathered our favourite shots from the year in a facebook gallery, and are allowing you to vote on the images.  (http://on.fb.me/dU6EyS )
The couple with the most “likes” on their photo on March 28.2011 will win a 16x20 wall print of this photo. Feel free to invite your friends and family to vote as well (one vote per person).

In addition to this, you may receive another entry each time you or friends or family mentions “www.visibleecho.com”, via facebook, blogs, twitter (@visibleecho), websites, posts of wedding photos, or wherever really (internet or real life).

In order to enter this portion, send us a email (lillian@visibleecho.com) with the link, screen capture, or photo (of real life happenings), and we will add one entry per mention.

Plus there will be a bonus “10” points for the most creative mention of visible echo. To keep things interesting, and to spur on creativity! And also because I like to be entertained by originality!

Visible Echo Photography now has gift cards available for Christmas, if you are looking for a unique gift idea for a wedding, band shoot, portrait session, someone starting a new business in need of photography or family, this may be the perfect gift for them!  They come in $50, $100, the price of a complete package, or any other amount you choose to specify.

Visible Echo Photography is now offering wedding thank you cards.
You can view them at thankyou.visibleecho.com

This way you can share your lovely wedding photographs with your friends and family.

They are available at $2-3 per thank-you card with envelope, dependent on how many you order.
Extra colours of most cards are available, if your desired colours aren't in the gallery.
A white envelope is included, but there are also coloured envelopes with them, or white envelopes with a coloured liner, available for a little extra.
If you like one without a photo on the front, yet still desire to send one of your wedding photos out to your guests, they can be ordered with a wallet photo inside, which is really nice as well.  It would be $0.50 per wallet. or $1 per 4x6 print.

two blogs

so here is what is going to happen.

i have decided to keep 2 blogs. so follow both or one, whichever you like.
this one. visibleecho.blogspot.com will be shoots i have done and new photos i feel like posting. and visibleecho.tumblr.com will be a photography account of life and other happenings around visible echo. mostly via iphone photos, and perhaps some other interesting tidbits. we will see how this all works, but it should offer some interesting visual material for you all!

ray mailman is a stellar jazz funk band from edmonton, alberta that i had the pleasure of shooting awhile back. we had quite the fun on the shoot, and well, who knew that photoshoots could potentially set up future spouses. yeah coral for being a super hot and talented stylist and make up artist that wooed the heart of ray mailman.

michelle + justin's wedding

a beautiful wedding just outside of calgary. had so much fun shooting this couple, they and their entire wedding party (and guests) were a blast. complete with a ghetto blaster and dance party mid shoot. awesome.

a great wedding done last year of one of my dear education friends. so beautiful, and very modern urban.
